At Teclib’, we firmly believe that the strength of our open-source ecosystem lies in the power of partnerships. Last week, our Channel Manager for Brazil, Nicolas Maymil, visited our partner Pellissari Soluções in Ponta Grossa (PR), further deepening the collaboration that has been key to expanding GLPI’s presence in southern Brazil.

Invited by João, founder and director of PLSS, Nicolas spent two intensive days engaging with the entire PLSS team. These discussions were rich and fruitful focused on identifying new opportunities with GLPI, exchanging strategies, and exploring new possibilities for synergy that will strengthen our mutual growth.

A collaborative spirit and shared vision

During this visit, several meetings took place between Nicolas and the PLSS management team, composed of Joao Pellissari, Laís Leal, Fábio Maia, and Sergio Paschenda. These discussions highlighted that this collaboration is based on shared values and a common goal: to provide robust and accessible IT service management to companies throughout Brazil, as well as locally in Ponta Grossa.

Nicolas also had the opportunity to present the scope and ambitions of the partnership between Teclib’ and PLSS during a Town Meeting that brought together the entire PLSS team.

Discovering the innovation potential of Ponta Grossa

The trip also provided a valuable opportunity to deepen our understanding of the local business and tech ecosystem. We had the honor of meeting with Faynara Merege, Secretary of Industry and Commerce of Ponta Grossa, to discuss the dynamics of the local economy and how companies like PLSS play a pivotal role in accelerating technological development in the region.

Engaging with the local innovation ecosystem

Our meetings also included discussions with key institutional stakeholders who promote local innovation, industry, and entrepreneurship. Among them were members of ACPIG (Associação Comercial, Industrial e Empresarial de Ponta Grossa): Giorgia Bin Bochenek, Leonardo Puppi Bernardi, and Jeymission Melo. In collaboration with ACPIG, we also had the opportunity to record a podcast about the Teclib’-PLSS partnership and the strategic impact of GLPI in Brazil..

Media coverage and community awareness

his visit was also an opportunity to present the partnership to the regional media, through several fruitful exchanges that highlighted the tangible impact of this collaboration for PLSS and GLPI in the region. In attendance were:

  • Wilson Oliveira – Jornal Diário dos Campos & Portal DC
  • Thiago Pereira and Lucas Melnik – RPC
  • Emmanuel Fornazari – Rádio CBN
  • Eloir Rodrigues – Jornal da Manhã & Portal A Rede

A special thanks to Eloir for welcoming us at the Jornal da Manhã & Portal A Rede studio, which gave us the opportunity to conduct an exclusive interview broadcast live on the media’s platforms.

These meetings were made possible thanks to the support of Guilherme Dias, who actively assists PLSS in organizing these events and promoting innovation in Ponta Grossa.

Successful GLPI implementations in the region

This visit also highlighted two great GLPI success stories in Ponta Grossa:

  • Grupo MM (Mercado Móveis): one of Brazil’s largest retail groups, present in more than 200 cities. GLPI has been used there for over 7 years in the IT department and other areas. Many thanks to Anny Navarro and Soelson Cordeiro for this insightful exchange.
  • Prestes Construtora: a reference in innovation and sustainable economy in the construction sector, using GLPI for more than 8 years across all its departments. We were inspired by how GLPI supports their dynamic growth, which is focused on sustainability.

These are further examples of successful GLPI projects in Brazil!

Looking ahead: digital transformation projects with GLPI

We also had very insightful discussions with Carlos Alberto Wegrow, Head of Information Systems at Grupo Gondaski, a major and multi-sectoral local player. Together, we explored various ways in which GLPI could support their digital transformation and process optimization projects, thus opening up promising prospects for future collaboration.

At Teclib’, we are proud to see how open source solutions like GLPI create value through collaboration and innovation, generating sustainable and long-lasting growth for all stakeholders involved. This visit reaffirms the importance of strategic local partnerships in building a stronger and more sustainable digital future, both in Brazil and around the world.

Open Source, strong together.
